Accounting and financial operational executive with strong business partner experience in driving accounting process excellence and business results while maintaining high ethical standards and independence.

Melissa Debes has more than 35 years of financial management expertise driving profitability, global cost reductions, and improving overall financial performance.  Ms. Debes’s extensive background includes GAAP technical roles with public companies, acquisition and integration projects and implementation of internal control systems.

Most recently Melissa was a Senior Consultant with Bridgepoint Consulting supporting the revenue change process at Epicor an ERP software company.  Previous to this assignment she had assumed the responsibility of the Interim Chief Accounting Officer for Amplify Snack Brands and supported the sale and transition of leadership to the Hershey Company.

Prior to joining Bridgepoint Consulting, Ms. Debes served as the Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) at Hanger a healthcare device company and as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and CAO at ENER1.  From 2001 to 2010, she served as Corporate Vice President and the CFO for the Product & Technology Group at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), a global technology company dedicated to computing and graphic products.  Prior to her time at AMD, Ms. Debes spent 16 years leading accounting and finance teams in various positions at Motorola.

Ms. Debes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Arizona State University and a Master of Business Administration from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
